Urgent update 4/27/08

During the recent minister’s convention and graduation ceremony at the Ministry Training Center, a crisis occurred which necessitates the practically immediate relocation of the college due to threatened legal action against the center for being a place of Christian ministry. They have been given an ultimatum to move the center out of the city.

At this point, the plans are to convert the existing college into an orphanage, which would be acceptable to all of the parties involved. A parcel of land has been located within an area outside of the city where a Ministry Training Center would be acceptable, and the owner of the land has agreed to make this price available at about 1/4 of its market value. The ministry needs to fund this need as quickly as possible. The price of the land alone is $300,000.

We urgently need $300,000.00 to close the deal. Will you stand with me at this hour of crisis and opportunity? The Lord has placed resources in our hands for such a time as this.”
